Homeward Bound

For those of you who do not know already, Gail and I have decided to move back to the Beaver State. That’s Oregon, by the way, but most of you knew that. We have enjoyed our time here in Michigan immensely. We have learned a great deal from our friends and employers, Rick and Linda, we have made good friends, and met many amazing people that will not be forgotten. We’ll be here until the last week in May, and then we will road-trip it back to OR, taking our time and seeing some new places. The saying “Home is where the heart is” is a true one. We are excited to see old friends (and young ones too) and our family members we haven’t seen in awhile. We’ve come to  learn that possessions are not as important as people and relationships. You can replace “things”. You can’t replace friends…

The Route We're Considering...

  1. You will be missed. I have really enjoyed getting to know You and Gail over the past year. Being one who moves often myself, I understand the desire to start a new chapter. I’ve never been one for staying in the same place for very long. Call it the adventurer in me. But it is always hard to say goodbye to good friends. You guys will certainly be no exception. Game nights won’t be the same without you. I’m sure that our paths will cross again. Just stick with the road less traveled by; that’s where we will be : )

    • Josh- We will all definitely have to make plans to meet up once in a while. Maybe you will transfer to Port Angeles or somewhere in Southeast Alaska…. Ya never know! We will cherish our game night memories, along with all of the cooking nights and camping. Have you ever noticed that most of our getting together is associated with food? TONS of food. Haha. Anyway, we are still here for two months, so we will see you soon! -Gail, representing both the B and the G
